The MKK Märkische Kies- und Kalksandsteinwerke GmbH is a German enterprise of the energy intensive industrial branch of sand & gravel mining and processing. The use of natural gas and electricity represents a remarkable expense factor in the production process of the company.
Lahmeyer International carried out an Energy Audit to evaluate the present state of the energy utilisation and to identify the most promising energy conservation measures under consideration of technical and economic aspects. The study comprised all major production lines.
