Bosnia and Herzegovina Railways Recovery Project
The state of Bosnia and Herze- govina received from the EU a loan for priority rehabilitation of their railway infrastructure facilities. The recovery project covers wo main corridors: the North-South Corridor V which connects the Adriatic port of Ploce in Croatia with Northern Croatia and Hungary; the East-West Corridor (X) is connecting the country with Serbia in the East and with Croatia in the West. The Consultant assists the Client during the project implementation.

Assistance of the PIU in terms of:
  • Project management
  • Preparation of detailed design, specifications, and 12 individual tender dossiers
  • Assistance and monitoring of the tender evaluation process
  • Supervision of the execution of the works

  • Track overhaul of 48 km single-track sections
  • Completion of 46 km single-track sections
  • Rehabilitation of stations and workshops
  • Rehabilitation of bridges
  • Installation of new signalling and telecommunication systems
