Start of Construction Supervision for 120 MW Ashegoda Wind Farm

Lahmeyer International GmbH (LI) has been awarded a construction supervision contract for the 120MW Ashegoda wind farm by the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo). The wind farm will consist of 120 Vergnet GEV-HP 1 MW turbines located at the Ashegoda site in the north of Ethiopia. LI will be permanently present on site during the major construction and installation activities. With the effectiveness of the contract the team for construction supervision will be mobilized during the next days and weeks to start their work in Ethiopia.
