Garri (El Gaili) Power Station - Plant 4 Sponge Coke Fired Power Plant – CFB Boiler

Garri (El Gaili) Power Station - Plant 4 Sponge Coke Fired Power Plant – CFB Boiler
Based on recent world wide experiences of various users NEC intends to apply a Circulating Fluidised Bed (CFB) boiler for recovery of energy out of sponge coke, as an economically priced fuel. NEC intends to install the Garri Power Station Plant 4 consisting of two units with a total capacity of approx. 2 x 50 MWel. The plant will basically consist of CFB combustion system, steam generator, flue gas and ash handling systems. The produced steam actuates a steam turbine generator for electric power generation. The electric power will be transferred into the electric grid via a 220 kV Substation.
